Penalties are carried out in stages depending on the severity of the violation, but serious or repeated violations are penalized immediately.

- Step 1: Warning
This is for relatively minor violations (swearing, spam, flooding, etc.).

- Step 2: Chat Suspension
This is when the same problem is repeated or for more severe cases (repeated swearing, bullying, alienating, etc.).
π Depending on the severity of the violation, the chat feature may be suspended for 3 to 180 days.
- Step 3: Permanent Ban
This is for serious or repeated violations (repeated swearing, derogatory remarks about parents, etc.).

Kidstopia provides various safety features for guardians so children can use the app more safely.

β Chat Safety Features
- Kidstopia's chat feature is provided in a locked form by default and is operated only as public 1:N group chats.
- Only users of Level 5 or higher can use it, and it is safely managed through an automatic filtering system and monitoring by the operation team.
- Also, you can use the chat lock feature and the feature to hide other friends' chats in [Menu] - [Settings] within the app.
β Friend Block Feature
- Friend relationships in Kidstopia require mutual acceptance while both users are online. One-sided friend additions are not allowed.
- You can block uncomfortable or strange friends using the friend block feature. When blocked, the user's chat messages and their visits to your My Room are blocked.
- Additionally, users can disable or reject friend requests in [Menu] - [Settings] within the app.
